Grandma calls it "iso"

This weekend I have redefined "staycation." After treatment with radioactive iodine for Graves Disease (a hyperthyroid condition), I am considered low-level radioactive. Enough to say that I should not be within four feet of other people for more than one minute per day, and definitely not within four feet of children under age 16 and pregnant women. So, lucky for me, I got to miss my last biochem lecture of the term this morning. The upcoming week involves orgo lab on Tuesday, biochem final on Saturday, and another anatomy midterm the following Monday, and flying home that Tuesday for Thanksgiving. With all the upcoming work, you'd think I'd be getting something done, right? Well, ok, I finished and submitted the course assignment (number two of two) for biochem (due this morning at 9:05am) yesterday afternoon, but since then I've been watching all the TV that has been backed up on my DVR (to the extent that it had to delete the old programs that I'd saved on it, including the last episode and retrospective of ER). Then today I re-watched the first two episodes of Grey's Anatomy, season one.

OK, so I did in fact study a little for anatomy, which I don't think will be as bad as the first exam. The plan is to write up my lab for Tuesday tomorrow, then get cracking for the exams. Wa-hoo.
